Herzfeld & Rubin LLP grew out of a New York City firm that was established in 1948 as Sereni & Herzfeld. In 1960 the name was changed to Herzfeld & Rubin and later became a professional corporation. Over the years Herzfeld & Rubin PC established affiliated offices throughout the United States, Romania and in Israel. Today the affiliated offices employ over 100 lawyers. The largest office is on Wall Street in New York City.

The California office of Herzfeld & Rubin LLP, was opened in 1974, and is headquartered in Los Angeles.  There is also an affiliated office in Livingston, New Jersey.
